You have to unpack the file called "ffmpeg.exe" which is located in the "bin" folder. Premier should have no issues decoding that, and chances are it will perform better than the HEVC file as well. DNxHR is a format specifically designed for video editing. This will take the file "test.mp4" and then create a copy of it called "output.mov" that will be in the DNxHR HQ format. \ffmpeg.exe -i ".\test.mp4" -c:v dnxhd -profile:v dnxhr_hq -c:a copy "output.mov" I don't have much experience with intermediate formats, but here is am example of how to convert to that using FFmpeg: Since you're on version 21 you might not be a high priority though.ģ) Transcode the HEVC file into some other format and then work on that.
